Elopements

Just you and your partner on “the big day”?
No problem, I allow brides to book just their services without having to meet a minimum. Get ready for the most relaxed pampering session because, without a bridal party, I instinctively become your personal stylist + hype girl!

Micro-Weddings

No matter how small of a wedding you are having, I do not charge extra if you are looking to book just a couple of services. All I require is that at least 1 bride service must be booked for me to accept a wedding booking. 

Large Bridal Parties

Have 7+ bridesmaids and mamas that want to get glammed with you? No problem! I have many trusted + vetted artists I work with for cases like this. We have worked on weddings that needed 20+ services done, and boy is it fun! I’ll give you more instructions on how to book additional artists on my booking form.

About half of our clients are new to airbrushing and the other half loved it! We use a professional-grade airbrushing system with high-quality formulas for all skin types and skin tones, without making your skin feel heavy. Airbrush makeup is perfect for those with sensitive skin because of its lightweight and serum-like consistency. The airbrush makeup we use is paraben-free, non-comedogenic, and water-resistant.

Don’t like leaving your dog at home? Strongly despise traffic? Already stressed about a tight wedding day timeline? No need to worry, we come to you for weddings and trial appointments (unless otherwise discussed). We travel anywhere from down the street* to Orange County, Temecula, and beyond. We can even be airplane friendly!

2. Check My Calendar for Availability

First, let’s make sure I’m available! Find your date on my calendar and select your ceremony time (or best guess). If your date is not open, you are more than welcome to send me an email to double-check. If you have a multi-date wedding, please send an inquiry to contact@chelsearosebeauty.com

3a. I'm Available!

If you reached the “I’m Available” page, then you’re ready to secure your date! Click the link on the “I’m Available” page to bring up the booking form. The booking form is where you’ll select your bride services, guest services, and even add on a bridal trial. There is video support on the booking form if you need it. Your wedding date is secured once a retainer is submitted & service agreement is signed.

3b. Celebrate

Okay, I had to throw in this step because, seriously, checking off the box on another important wedding vendor is HUGE!
Also, be on the lookout for your Welcome Kit Email. This will guide you through our next steps together and give you access to your Portal. This will house everything plus you’ll get instant access to my Mini Bridal Beauty Booklet. Shortly after, I will add your Bridal Questionnaire. This is a space to share with me any of your beauty preferences or dislikes, add bridal beauty inspo photos, and give me allll the deets! 🙂

What does your makeup service include?

The bride’s application starts with a little aromatherapy, 24K face mask, and facial rolling, followed by a pair of 24K Gold Collagen filled under eye gels and a sugar lip scrub + lip mask. The skincare finale is the perfect skincare cocktail providing moisture and radiance. The decollete is prepped for gowns with a low neckline for a subtle, healthy glow. For brides or guests that need a little coverage over body acne or light bruising, body airbrush makeup is used.

Guests receive a simpler yet nourishing skin prep prior to makeup application with the under eye gels. Each makeup application is catered toward the client, including an appropriate amount of coverage of airbrush foundation and the perfect amount of false lashes, whether it is a soft glamorous or as-natural-as-can-be look.

All brides and bridal guests receive airbrush foundation. For more information on what is included in all services, please visit my Services & Rates Guide.

How long will the hair & makeup last? Will the makeup be waterproof?

For most skin types, the airbrush makeup easily lasts long into the night and even the next morning. For skin types that don’t typically hold up well against makeup, you can be assured that longwear, water resistant products are used to help keep as long as possible. Extra precaution and guidance is advised to avoid wiping or touching of face. For hair, a lot of product and technique go into the hairstyling to ensure that even simple curls hold long past the first kiss, but without the crunchy feeling.

A Touch Up Session is included for all bookings with a bridal party at the end of services to refresh any hair & makeup one last time before walking down the aisle. For weddings, the bride is equipped with a touch up kit.

My mom and/or mother-in-law are nervous about getting their hair & makeup done, but I'd really like them to be apart of my wedding morning. What can I tell them to reassure them they are in good hands?

First, it is advised that you find out what about the makeup that they are nervous about. Second, once you have pinpointed the issue, mention to them that Chelsea has years of experience with mature skin and is more than happy to schedule a [paid] trial with them, or a complimentary 10-minute phone consultation to help address their concerns. Definitely make them feel included as they want to be apart of your special day!

Can I add on services at a later time?

If you know you want at least 1 Bride service, then I suggest you book your date ASAP because otherwise someone else may grab your date. About 3 months out from your wedding, I will check in to see if you are adding on services. Although I do this, the sooner you have 100% committed add-ons, send me an email requesting in detail which services you are adding on. The sooner the better because Summer months get very busy and Additional Artist availability is slim!

How long does each service take?

Each hair or makeup service can take between 30-60 minutes, however, services are scheduled in a provided timeline to include extra time to avoid any delays that may occur.

Do you have a team of artists?

Based upon availability, a vetted additional artist can be booked for your event. There is a flat fee to add an additional artist, per additional artist. Please note that additional artists are only available when at least 6 services are booked.

Do you cater to Bride Only?

Yes! Even if it is just Bride Hair only or Bride Makeup only.

Is there a minimum required to book my wedding?
At least 1 Bride service needs to be booked for Chelsea to accept booking.
Is a Bridal Trial required? What if I'm coming from out of town?

No, but definitely encouraged. If you are a planner, this one’s especially for you. The trial is a great way for Chelsea to try out your dream bridal look and for you to see how everything lasts & looks throughout the day/night. If you decide to skip a trial, you’re still in good hands and you’ll have a thorough questionnaire to fill out so you & Chelsea are on the same page.

If you are able to visit before the wedding date, we can accommodate your bridal trial at your hotel room or local accommodations.

How can I reserve my date?

 Please visit the Contact page for the link to self-book your wedding or submit an inquiry.

Event date is only secure once Service Agreement & Retainer are submitted.

Can I book a trial before I book my wedding?

Because your Event date is only secured when a Service Agreement & Retainer are submitted, a trial can only be booked as an add-on to a wedding booking. This creates peace of mind in the highly likely case that another bride is inquiring for the same date. If for some reason you are dissatisfied after your trial, you have until 30 days before your event date to cancel without losing more than the trial amount.

How much is the retainer to book? What's the payment plan?

The Retainer amount is $200 and needs to be submitted with your signed contract. If you are booking a trial with your wedding day services, the trial amount minus the retainer will be the amount due on your trial date. Lastly, your final balance is due (1) one week before your event date. 

You will receive payment reminders & have an invoice in your client portal.

What is your cancellation policy?

A cancellation means the event has been changed, cancelled, or postponed. If you need to cancel all contracted services, a written notice must be sent from Bride to Artist. Notices sent 30 days or more before the event will be refunded any amounts paid, minus the retainer. If you have already signed an agreement with Chelsea Rose Beauty and it is past (3) days from signing, according to the contract, the retainer is non-refundable. Notices sent less than 30 days before the event are liable to pay the contracted service amounts.

If for some reason, Chelsea needs to cancel your event, she will refund all monies paid and do her absolute best to find you a replacement artist.

 

How do you handle illness, sickness, and sanitation?

We hold high sanitation standards when working and take extra precautions when necessary. All products are sanitized before and after each use. Chairs are wiped down in between each client and clean makeup brushes are used on each client. 

From our contract, “Artist’s cosmetics are all FDA approved. It is the Client’s responsibility to advise the Artist(s) if Client, and any guests that will be at the service location, are known to have any allergies. Failure to do so is not the responsibility of the Artist(s). Client can request a full list of cosmetics or products used. Client and guests must inform Artist(s) of any infection, illness, and irritations on skin or orifice, including but not limited to cold sores, open wounds, and pink eye. It is up to the Artist(s) if they think they can proceed with the scheduled service(s), but in most cases, if any open wound, disease, infection, or illness is present, the Artist(s) will not be able to proceed with the service. In which case, if the Artist cannot execute the application due to illness, disease, or open wounds, etc, of the Client or guests, the service will be refunded to Client.”

What if I need to reschedule my wedding date?

Please email Chelsea directly for any rescheduling or cancellations of events.

Do you offer discounts?
Whether you are booking a bundle or an a la carte service, the following discounts currently exist:
  • 5% off invoice Military Member or Spouse Discount
  • 5% off invoice Heroes Discount – Teachers, Doctors, Nurses, & First Responders
  • 5% off Pay in Full Discount – you must pay the entire balance of the invoice when submitting with contract.
